Counselling is a practice that can be very helpful in times of emotional upheaval
or periods when our mental health and well-being is suffering. In my practice I
take a side-by-side approach, collaborating with you to explore and discover
solutions to issues that are causing blockages and pain.
My practice is underpinned by evidence based theoretical approaches including, Person Centred, Solution-focused Brief Therapy(SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT), Positive Psychology, Strengths Based and Mindfulness Based.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey with a goal to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Through experience and the completion of further training, I have found one of my areas of speciality in counselling to be helping people manage anxiety. Living with chronic anxiety can be debilitating and can prevent you from living your optimal life. Anxiety is at the core of disorders such as panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder and health anxiety disorder. I use evidence based, cutting edge approaches to help clients understand and manage their symptoms to provide relief and help clients to feel in control.
